About Me

PGCE Maths teacher, International & SEND school experience

My Experience

I am a qualified secondary Maths teacher with a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics and experience teaching students across a wide range of ages and abilities. I have taught IGCSE Maths in Dubai, as well as Maths and Humanities in UK schools, including SEND settings and primary schools.

Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a police officer for 4.5 years, which developed my communication, patience, resilience and ability to work effectively with people from all backgrounds.

I am passionate about helping students build confidence in Maths and enjoy making lessons clear, engaging and tailored to each individual learner. I take a supportive approach and aim to help students not only improve their understanding and grades, but also develop a positive attitude towards Maths.

My Qualifications

PGCE Secondary Mathematics with QTS - Birmingham City University
BSc Policing - Staffordshire University

My Availability

Available Wednesday after school and evening, Thursday evening and Saturday mornings. Can be flexible.
