My Experience

2 years of voluntary experience in a youth club, running dance workshops & arts and craft tutorials. This was a position I worked in twice weekly for 24 months. The age of children under my supervision ranged in age between 4-16, depending group designation per day. (2010-2012)

1 year of Nanny experience whilst working abroad in Australia. I was hired as a live in Nanny for a private family, responsible for daytime care of two children aged 4 and 2 years old. Daily life included morning routine, dressing children, educational play, outdoor activities, nappy changes, nap times, preparing healthy meals, potty training, daily baths, cleaning communal areas, tidying/arranging toys (2013-2014)

2014-2025 I worked in the corporate world and after a year career break, made the decision to completely change careers and re-engage in the childcare sector.

(June 2026-Present) Currently working as a weekday Nanny for a private family, taking care of a 4 year old child. This role is a live in position and includes school drop off/pick up, morning routine, preparing daily meals and lunches, ensuring completion of homework and incorporating play based phonics/reading, bathing child daily, administering daily medication. Ensuring positive, safe and nurturing environment for little one, whilst respecting family time.

My Qualifications

1 year experience as a Youth Worker for the Kings Trust, working as a Youth Development Leader with 16-30 year olds. I have prior experience working as a Nanny, with specific experience providing care and looking after children aged 2,4 & 5 years of age.
