About Me

My husband and I are due our first little one in December 2026 - an exciting time! We are based in South Gyle and I work in the South of the city as a Depute Head Teacher at an Edinburgh high school. My husband works at sea up north (3 weeks on/3 weeks off). We are from the Western Isles - the Isle of Lewis and Harris respectively - but have been here for 10 years, really love living in Edinburgh and are looking forward to our wee one being brought up here.

We are hoping to organise childcare for the year following - December 2027/January 2028 (depending on when baby appears!). We would ideally look for term time included, but we can look at being flexible if we find the right childcare.
