About Me
I'm bubbly and creative and love to be kept busy- both out and about with my children and/or with my dog Luna or busy with a little DIY project at home.
My daughters are 16 and 12 and are growing in independence, these days I'm mostly a taxi service for them and their sports. :)
Before working within Early Years Education I was a self employed baker -making bespoke novelty and themed celebration cakes . I still enjoy baking and on occasion will still take cake orders .
My Experience
I have worked in local private nurseries since September 2018 - February 2025 after gaining my SVQ Children and Young People Social Services in July 2018 (equivalent of Welsh NVQ level 3).
Since 2022 I have been working under local authority with Flying Start, first in childcare and since February 2025 I have been employed as a Flying Start Early Years Parent Advisor .
Within my latest role I have been delivering speech and language interventions to parents and families with in their homes, planning and delivering baby and toddler groups in our Flying Start centres with clear focus on baby and toddler development including Weaning , toileting and early language advice.
Throughout working in childcare and hone visiting i have gained valuable learning and experience of working with many children and especially enjoy working with children on the Autism spectrum and building those important connections through intensive interaction.
I enjoy all aspects of play and helping children learn through play - the messier the better usually !
My Qualifications
SVQ Children and Young People Social Services - Equivalent of NVQ 3 in Wales.
*I have a full and current DBS certificate as well as full and clean driving licence with Business insurance.*
Relevant training that I have completed through my childcare and parenting advisor roles include:
• Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Food and Hygiene
• Allergy Awareness Training
• Portage Trained by National Portage Service -(ALN)
•Parents as First Teachers Training (PAFT)
• Trauma and Attachment Training
• Trained in Early Speech and Language Programmes to deliver to families within their homes as well as basic Sign Along Training.
• Talk with Me Training.
My Availability
Currently available every Friday and available immediately as I work a 4 day week on a term time contract in my Parent Advisor role - happy to work weekends as and when.

- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
