My Requirements

I am looking for a Care Inspectorate registered childminder for my 5-year-old son, Adam, who will be starting P1 at Greyhope School.

Once Adam has completed his initial settling-in period and begins attending the normal full school day, I will need regular after-school childcare Monday to Friday. Adam would need to be collected from Greyhope School at approximately 3:00 pm and looked after until around 4:30–5:00 pm.

I finish work in Torry at 4:00 pm and do not currently have a car, so ideally the childminder would be based within reasonable walking distance of Greyhope/Torry. Alternatively, a childminder who could bring Adam back to our home in Torry would also be suitable.

I may also need regular before-school childcare, depending on whether Greyhope School is able to provide a Breakfast Club and what the earliest school drop-off time will be. If morning childcare is required, I would ideally need to leave Adam with the childminder at approximately 8:00–8:15 am, with the childminder taking him to Greyhope School for the start of the school day.

The provider must be Care Inspectorate registered because I claim eligible childcare costs through Universal Credit.
