About Me
Hello, my name is Shanade and I’m a first-time mum to my lovely daughter, Leyla-Mae, who was born in November 2025.
We are a warm and loving family based in the Coulsdon area. Leyla-Mae is a happy, curious and increasingly active little girl who enjoys playing, exploring, interacting with others and being included in everyday activities. She is currently being weaned, has formula milk, takes two naps most days and usually settles best with a calm, reassuring and consistent approach.
I am due to return to work part-time in November 2026 and would like Leyla-Mae to begin settling into childcare beforehand. We are looking for an experienced, caring and dependable childminder who genuinely enjoys caring for babies and can provide a safe, nurturing home-from-home environment.
It is important to us that Leyla-Mae receives plenty of affection, attention and age-appropriate stimulation while maintaining a routine that supports her naps, meals and development. We would particularly value someone who communicates openly, provides regular updates and is patient during the settling-in period.
Ideally, we would like a childminder in or near Coulsdon who accepts the government-funded childcare hours from nine months. We are looking to build a positive, trusting and long-term relationship with the right person.
My Requirements
I am looking for a warm, experienced and reliable childminder for my daughter, Leyla-Mae, who was born in November 2025.
I plan to return to work part-time in November 2026 and would ideally like Leyla-Mae to begin settling-in sessions beforehand, gradually building up to full days.The exact days are still being confirmed, but I am likely to require childcare for approximately two to three weekdays per week.
I am looking for someone who:
• Has experience caring for babies under one
• Provides a safe, loving and home-from-home environment
• Can follow Leyla-Mae’s bottle, weaning and two-nap routine
• Uses a calm, patient and reassuring approach to settling
• Offers age-appropriate play, outdoor time and developmental activities
• Provides regular updates about meals, bottles, naps, nappies and activities
• Holds current paediatric first-aid, safeguarding and DBS documentation
• Accepts funded childcare for children from nine months and Tax-Free Childcare
• Is based in or close to Coulsdon/CR5
Consistency and communication are very important to me. I would like Leyla-Mae to have one main caregiver and gradually form a secure, trusting relationship with them. I am happy to discuss hours, routines and settling arrangements with the right childminder.
