Anita
Nanny in Hayling Island
My Summary
About Me
Dear Family,
I am very happy to introduce myself and express my interest in becoming your nanny. As a trained nurse and, most importantly, a mum who has raised three wonderful boys, including twins, caring for children has been a very special and important part of my life.
Being a mother has taught me so much about children — their individual personalities, their little routines, their emotions, and the patience and kindness they need as they grow. Raising twins alongside another child also taught me how to stay calm, organised and flexible, even when life gets very busy!
My nursing background is another part of what I can bring to your family. I am confident when it comes to children's health, safety, hygiene and first aid, and I understand how reassuring it is for parents to know that their children are being cared for by someone responsible and experienced.
I am a warm, caring and trustworthy person, and I genuinely enjoy being around children. I believe children thrive when they feel loved, listened to and secure. I would treat your children with the same care, patience and respect that I have always given my own.
I would love the opportunity to get to know your family and become someone you can truly rely on. For me, being a nanny is not simply a job — it is about becoming a trusted and caring person in a child's life and giving parents peace of mind while they are away.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I would be delighted to meet you and tell you more about myself.
Warmest regards,
Anita
My Experience
Over the years, I have gained a wealth of experience caring for children, both through my professional background and through raising my own family. I have always enjoyed the everyday moments that come with caring for children — playing, talking, encouraging them, helping with routines, and watching their confidence and independence develop.
Having raised three boys, including twins, I have experienced the many different stages of childhood first-hand. I understand that every child is different and that a good caregiver needs to be attentive, flexible and willing to adapt to each child's personality and needs.
I am someone who enjoys creating a calm and positive atmosphere. I am happy to support children with their daily routines, meals, activities, school or nursery needs, and to make sure they feel secure and well cared for throughout the day.
My nursing experience has also taught me to be observant, practical and reassuring. I am comfortable taking responsibility and understand the importance of keeping children safe while allowing them the freedom to learn, explore and have fun.
I feel that my experience has shaped me into a patient, compassionate and reliable person, and I would love to bring these qualities into a nanny role where I can make a positive difference to a child's everyday life.
