My Requirements

I’m not working at the moment, so I’m not really looking for childcare for work purposes. It’s more about giving me a little break occasionally, but also giving Chloe the chance to get used to spending some time away from me, mixing with other children, building her confidence and independence, and doing lots of fun activities, games and going on some adventures. Only really looking for 3 morning a week. Roughly 12 hrs.
I think I’m just finding it harder to let go than I thought I would ? While I’m at home and have the opportunity to spend this time with her, I’d rather make the most of it. I definitely think it would be really good for Chloe to have some time away from me and gain that confidence and independence, I’m just not quite ready for it to be every day yet.
Obviously when my circumstances change and I go back to work, our childcare needs will be different and we’d be looking for more hours, but at the moment I honestly don’t know when that will be.
Looking for a warm, caring childminder in a small, homely setting where Chloe can settle gradually and enjoy plenty of interaction with other children. I value good communication about her day — feeding, sleep, activities — and a nurturing environment with outdoor activities and outings. Flexibility around my plans to return to part-time work in the future would be important. Most of all, I'm looking for someone I feel completely comfortable with and can trust with my daughter.
