Hi, I’m Vanesa, the childminder behind Little Foragers Childminding in Dogsthorpe, Peterborough.
I’m a warm, caring and enthusiastic childminder with a passion for creating a home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy and confident to explore. My approach is child-led and nature-inspired, with lots of outdoor adventures, sensory play, crafts, stories and activities tailored to each child’s interests and development.

My Experience
As a mum myself, I have hands on experience caring for and supporting a young child through the different stages of early development. I have also completed professional training in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Makaton Level 2 for my childminding career. I am always looking for ways to improve my qualifications and attend training regularly.
My previous professional experience has involved working closely with people, building positive relationships, communicating effectively and creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
As a childminder, I use the EYFS framework to plan engaging, age appropriate learning opportunities, with a particular focus on learning through play, outdoor exploration, creativity and developing children’s confidence and independence.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I accept all government funding and tax free childcare. My private fee is £6,50 p/h
