About Me
I’m Alice, mum to a little boy, who was born in November 2025. We’re a small, close-knit family and Arthur is very much at the centre of our world.
He is a happy, affectionate and curious little boy who loves exploring, being outdoors, looking at books, music and getting involved in whatever we’re doing. He’s very sociable and loves interacting with people, but he also enjoys having the freedom to explore things at his own pace. He’s becoming increasingly mobile and is currently fascinated by discovering how everything works!
As a family, we love spending time outdoors, reading together, exploring new places and making lots of memories. We’re very involved in Arthur’s day-to-day life and want him to grow up feeling confident, independent, curious and encouraged to try new things.
We’re particularly drawn to the Montessori approach because we love the focus on independence, following a child’s interests and learning through everyday experiences and hands-on play.
My Requirements
We’re looking for a warm, nurturing and home-from-home childcare environment where our little boy can be genuinely known and cared for as an individual.
We’d love to find a Montessori childminder who can support his development through play, exploration and everyday experiences, while allowing him to learn and develop at his own pace. A childminder who values outdoor time, books, practical activities and encouraging independence would be a particularly good fit for our family.
It’s important to us that he feels safe, settled and happy, and that we can build a trusting relationship with his childminder. We’re looking for someone who will work with us as parents and keep us involved in his development and daily experiences.
We’re hoping to find the right long-term fit for our family rather than simply childcare, and would love for him to have a strong, nurturing relationship with the person caring for him.
