Location: Oxted
Start Date: Mid-Late November 2026
Hours: 7am – 7pm, Tuesday to Thursday (36 hours/week)
Salary: £18-£20 per hour, depending on experience

About Our Family: We are a welcoming and friendly family living in Oxted, looking for an experienced, caring and proactive nanny. We have a daughter, 2.5 years old, and son, 8.5 months old. We both work full time in London based jobs and work from home a few days a week (typically these will be the nanny’s off days). Our daughter is in a full time nursery 5 days a week. The nanny would primarily look after our son, but would also be expected to assist in mornings and evenings with our daughter, and to look after both children in the event of any unplanned absences from nursery. We value structured daily routines, good communication with us, and proactivity in arranging age appropriate play, outings, social visits and development activities for the children.

We view our nanny as an essential extension of our family, so open communication, warmth, and a strong personality fit are very important to us. We’re hoping to find someone who will be with us for the long term.

On Mondays and Fridays both children are in nursery full time.

Key Responsibilities:
• Sole charge care of our son during working hours.
• Helping with nursery drop off and pick up, and after nursery care for our daughter.
• Planning engaging, age-appropriate developmental activities, baby groups, playdates and outdoor play.
• Preparing healthy, balanced meals and snacks for both children (our daughter just has dinner at home in the evenings, she has breakfast at nursery).
• Managing nap times and maintaining age-appropriate daily routines.
• Child-related nursery duties (children's laundry, tidying playroom/toys, keeping kitchen clean after meals).

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Past experience of being a professional nanny or childcare experience with infants and toddlers.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willing to undergo one).
• UK driving licence (use of the family car will be provided).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong and verifiable references from previous families.
