Welcome to Tonie Home
Tonie Home is a warm, safe and welcoming home-based childminding service providing high-quality childcare for school-aged children.
I offer a caring and nurturing environment where children can feel comfortable, supported and valued. My aim is to create a home-from-home setting where children can learn, play, relax and develop their confidence in a safe and positive environment.
I provide before-school, after-school and wraparound childcare, supporting families who need reliable childcare around their children’s school day. Activities may include creative play, reading, arts and crafts, educational activities, board games, outdoor play, homework support and quiet time.
I understand that every child is different, so I take the time to get to know each child’s individual personality, interests, routines and needs. I encourage children to develop independence, social skills and confidence while ensuring they are supervised and cared for at all times.
I also place great importance on working in partnership with parents and keeping communication open, so parents can feel confident that their child is happy, safe and well cared for.

My Experience
I have experience caring for and supporting children in a family environment, and I understand the importance of providing children with a safe, caring and nurturing environment where they can feel happy and secure.
As a parent, I have developed strong skills in understanding children’s individual needs, supporting their routines, encouraging independence and providing age-appropriate activities. I am patient, responsible and attentive, and I understand that every child develops at their own pace.
I am also currently completing my registration as a childminder via a childminder agency, which provided me with training and knowledge in areas including safeguarding, child development, supporting children’s behaviour, health and safety, risk assessment, first aid and working in partnership with parents.
I aim to use this experience and training to provide reliable, professional and nurturing childcare where every child is treated with kindness, respect and care.
My Qualifications
Bachelors in business management.
EYFS: Safeguarding & Welfare Requirements.
EYFS: Safeguarding: Child Protection
Tigerlily- Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
Food hygiene and handling level 2.
DBS Enhanced clearance also on the update service
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £13.00 per hour
My childcare fees are competitively priced and reflect the quality, care and individual attention provided at Tonie Home.
Standard childcare: £13 per hour per child.
Fees may vary for before-school, after-school, holiday, weekend, occasional or emergency childcare. Please contact me to discuss your requirements and receive a personalised quote.
