About Me
I am a creative and energetic Italian who calls Glasgow her home. I have loved spending time with kids since I was a kid myself and have been babysitting children of different ages since I was a teenager! I speak many languages so could offer some playful teaching if that sounds interesting, otherwise I am happy to simply engage in indoor/outdoor activities as preferred.
My Experience
I started babysitting for friends as a teenager, and volunteered at every summer camp in my village. By word of mouth I quickly started babysitting for friends of friends and various families and kids of different ages in my local area. I do not have any specific childcare certificate or qualification, but I enjoy building caring, trusting relationships with the kids I am looking after and to create an enjoyable experience for all. I am very respectful of the parents' requirements and look to ensure there is trust and cooperation as a foundation to my experience with the children. I am a great listener, patient and enthusiastic about any task and I could listen to kids' stories for hours! I'd love to get more experience caring for newborns/babies.
My Qualifications
I do not have any qualifications in Childcare, only hands-on experience.
My Availability
I am currently not employed hence I have quite a bit of flexibility, except for some recurring endeavours on some days of the week.
