My Requirements
After School Nanny Wanted — Charlton, SE7 (London)
Starting November 2026 (with settling-in days in October 2026)
We’re a friendly family in Charlton (SE7) looking for a warm, reliable nanny to help care for our two children, aged 4 and 9 months (as of November 2026). We will need you to be available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for after school pick up, dinner and bath/bed time. At the moment, we will only need three days per week but would be open to increasing this in the new year when I go back to work full time.
About the children:
Our son (4) is starting Reception in September 2026. He has Cystic Fibrosis, which means some health and mealtime care is required — primarily administering digestive enzymes with food and snacks. Full training and a written care plan will be provided; no prior CF experience is necessary, but confidence following medical routines is important. He may also show ADHD-like behaviour, largely linked to his medication, so patience and a firm, calm, consistent approach are valued. He is intelligent and imaginative and responds well to playfulness and attention.
Our daughter (9 months) will be starting nursery in October/November when I go back to work. She is a calm and happy baby.
What we’re looking for:
• Experience caring for a baby/toddler and a school-age child together
• First Aid certified and enhanced DBS check
• Non-smoker (it is important that our son is not exposed to smoke for his lung health)
• Comfortable following a straightforward medical routine (enzymes at mealtimes) after training
The role will primarily involve collecting our son from school in SE3, playing with him, preparing and giving him dinner and helping with bath time. We will also ask that you collect our daughter from nursery and give her dinner and bath time as well, although this may not be every day (as we may collect her on the way home from work depending on schedules).
