My Summary

My Experience

I have experience caring for children from as young as 6 months old through to teenagers aged 15, including babysitting for family members, friends and colleagues.

I have also worked with young children in nursery and kindergarten settings in Cyprus, supporting their learning and development through teaching English, reading, singing nursery rhymes and age-appropriate educational activities.

In addition, I worked as a Support Officer for three years, supporting young people as well as young mothers and their babies. This gave me a strong understanding of safeguarding, child welfare and the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment. I also worked alongside local authorities, social services and the police to support the best interests and wellbeing of those in my care.

Through this role, I supported everyday routines and independent living skills, including cooking, learning about different cultures and understanding emotions. I encouraged healthy ways of recognising, managing and expressing emotions, while understanding that every child and young person has different needs.

My overall experience has helped me develop a patient, caring and responsible approach to childcare, with a strong focus on creating a safe, positive and nurturing environment where children can feel comfortable, have fun and learn.

My Qualifications

I have training and professional experience in Safeguarding Children, Behaviour Management and Mental Health, which has given me a strong understanding of how to support children in a safe, patient and positive way.

I also have three years of experience working as a Support Officer, where safeguarding and wellbeing were an important part of my role.

I currently work full-time as a Health & Safety Manager within the construction industry, so safety, responsibility and risk awareness are a big part of my professional background.

My Availability

My Availability

I currently work full-time Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with my office based in East Croydon. During the week, I am generally available for babysitting from around 6pm onwards, depending on travel time.

Monday–Friday: Evenings from approximately 6pm onwards
Weekends: Flexible availability – mornings, afternoons, evenings and late nights
Bank Holidays: Available and flexible with times

I’m open and flexible with timings, so please feel free to get in touch to discuss your requirements. For bookings arranged in advance, I will always do my best to accommodate your family’s schedule.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour

I currently work full-time Monday–Friday, so I’m mainly available for evening and weekend babysitting.

I’m happy to help with evening routines, playtime, preparing simple meals/snacks and bedtime, while making sure your little ones are safe and comfortable.

Rate: £18 per hour
Rates can be discussed depending on the hours, frequency of bookings and number of children.
