About Me
We’re a friendly family leaving a flat in Porchester Gardens looking for someone reliable, caring and fun to help with our two children 2–3 evenings per week.
We are a French couple leaving in London since 2020. We both work from the office and would appreciate some support for the evening kids routine to remove some pressure to leave work early.
Our daughter Céleste is 3 years old and joyful, and our son Arthur is a sweet 9 months old baby. They both attend the same nursery in Maida Vale (N Family, W9 3AB).
We’re ideally looking for someone who can commit to 2 or 3 evenings a week, Tuesday to Thursday, from around 4:45pm to 7:45pm. We’re happy to discuss which days work best around your schedule.
My Requirements
2–3 evenings per week | Tuesday–Thursday | ~4:45pm–7:45pm

- Comfortable looking after a baby and a 3 year old together.
- Organised and happy to help with the children’s routine.
- Ideally looking for a regular part-time commitment during the university year.
- Previous childcare experience is important, but we’re particularly interested in someone who is kind, responsible and a good fit for our family.
// The role:
* 4:45pm – Nursery pick-up
- Pick up both children from N Family Club Maida Vale (N Family, W9 3AB).
- Bring them home to 2 Porchester Gardens, W2 6JL.
- You can travel by bus or your own vehicle.
- We can also offer the use of our cargo bike, if you’re a confident and experienced cyclist and would be happy to use it.
* ~5:30pm – Bedtime routine
- Bath both children.
- Warm up and serve their dinner — meals are prepared in advance, so there is no cooking required.
- Give Arthur his bottle.
- Brush Céleste’s teeth, help her with the toilet and clean noses if needed.
- Put Arthur to bed at ~6:45pm.
- Read a story with Céleste and put her to bed around ~7:15pm.
- Light household help
* Once the children are settled, we’d appreciate some help with small tasks related to the children (time permitting):
- Tidy up after their dinner.
- Tidy away toys and put children’s clothes in the laundry basket.
- Put the children’s laundry / hang it up once the children are in bed.
- Prepare the children’s purées for the following day.
One of us will sometimes aim to be home at ~6:45pm, although this won’t always be possible because of work. If we’re home in time, we’ll take over the final part of the bedtime routine, and you can use the remaining time until 7:45pm for the household tasks above.
