My Experience

I am a newly qualified maternity nurse and am looking to build my experience supporting families with newborns.

I am a caring, reliable and responsible nanny and maternity nurse with hands-on experience caring for babies and young children. I hold a Level 4 Maternity Nurse Certification with Babyem and Paediatric First Aid certification.

My most recent childcare experience has been as a night nanny for a baby who was 2 months old when I started caring for him in October 2025. I initially worked nights for around five months and then continued on a part-time basis. I have supported him throughout his first year and have enjoyed watching his development and changing needs as he has grown. My responsibilities included overnight care, feeding, changing, settling, maintaining routines, providing a safe and nurturing environment, and keeping parents updated about his wellbeing.

I also work as a part-time weekend nanny for two children aged 4 and 5. I provide safe, caring supervision, organise age-appropriate activities and play, support their routines and meals, and ensure they have a happy and positive time while in my care.

Alongside my childcare experience, my professional background has given me strong skills in hygiene, organisation, communication, confidentiality, reliability and working calmly under pressure. I understand the importance of building trust with parents and providing consistent, attentive care tailored to each child’s individual needs.

I am particularly interested in maternity nurse, newborn, night nanny positions and would be happy to support families with both babies and young children.

My Qualifications

4 credits at level 4 on a course entitled Newborn Care Specialist training provided by Babyem

Blended Padiatric first Aid course provided by Childwell

Bachelor’s degree in information technology

My Fees

• Maternity Nursing from £19.00 per hour (gross)

My childcare rates are £19–£30 per hour, depending on the number of children, hours required, and responsibilities involved.

I offer reliable, caring and professional childcare tailored to each family’s individual needs. I’m happy to discuss rates for regular bookings, longer hours, evenings, weekends, additional children, or extra responsibilities such as homework support, meal preparation and light household duties.
