About Me
I bring genuine joy and enthusiasm to my work with children. I have lots of energy, dedication and patience, and I love creating days that are active, interesting and full of opportunities to learn.
Looking after babies and young children, safety comes first, along with good nutrition and rest. But there is plenty of time left in the day for having an amazing, active and enjoyable time while learning through play.
I particularly enjoy gymnastics, dancing and physical play, and these are a regular part of our day. There is plenty of space and a good range of equipment for children to move, practise new skills and have fun, both indoors and outdoors.
I have a fantastic range of high quality educational resources and toys for different ages and stages. Children can enjoy independent play, activities with an adult and opportunities to explore and learn at their own pace. I enjoy teaching through play and seeing the results as children learn and develop new skills.
My approach is inspired by the EYFS, play based learning and Montessori principles. I want children to have plenty of opportunities to explore, make choices, try things for themselves and learn through experiences that genuinely interest them.
The Environment
The setting has a spacious double sized play and learning room, separate from the kitchen, with plenty of room for children to play and explore. The room has windows on one side and French doors opening onto the garden on the other, bringing plenty of natural light throughout the day.
There is also a separate sleep and rest room for babies and young children, which can become a space for movement, gymnastics and physical play when children are awake.
The landscaped gardens provide opportunities for outdoor play, fresh air, nature and physical development.
Languages, Culture and the Wider World
I speak English, Spanish and Croatian fluently, as well as conversational Italian. I have a great depth of knowledge and a strong interest in history, geography, different cultures and the wider world. I have also travelled extensively and enjoyed experiencing different places and cultures.
I enjoy sharing this with children through stories, conversations, music, languages and everyday experiences, helping them become curious about the world around them.
From a Parent’s Perspective
As a mother of two, I understand how important it is to feel confident in the person caring for your child.
You want to know that your child is safe.
But you also want to know that they are known.
That their personality is noticed, their interests are understood, their voice is heard and their achievements are celebrated.
I want every child in my care to feel comfortable being themselves, to grow in confidence and independence, to learn and discover new things, and above all, to be happy. I want them to enjoy their time here, have wonderful experiences and create happy memories as they grow.
My Experience
After graduating in Early Years Education and Child Psychology with a First-Class BSc (Hons), I began my career working with children. I then moved into professional and corporate roles, including positions within the medical and scientific sectors, where I gained experience in very different and demanding environments.
My most recent role brought me back into education. Working in a London private school reminded me how much I valued working with children, especially in the Early Years, where you can be part of a child’s first learning experiences, make learning fun and see those first moments of progress and achievement.
Over the years, I have learned a great deal about organisation, responsibility, communication and working calmly when things do not go to plan. I now bring that experience together with my Early Years background in a setting where I can focus on what I enjoy most: being around children and helping them make the most of these important early years.
Creating my own setting felt like a natural next step. It brings together the experience I have gained throughout my career with the work I have always found most rewarding: working with children.

My Availability
My standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm.
Early morning, evening and weekend childcare may also be available by prior arrangement, subject to availability. These additional hours can be discussed in advance to accommodate individual family needs where possible.
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
Government Funded Hours
Eligible government-funded early education places are available, subject to eligibility, availability and the applicable funding arrangements.
Funded hours are provided free at the point of delivery, in accordance with the relevant funding requirements.
Private Childcare Fees
Full-Day Place: £80 — up to 10 hours between 8:00am and 6:00pm
Hourly Rate: £10 per hour
Payment Options: Childcare Vouchers, Tax-Free Childcare, Bank Transfer and Standing Order accepted.
