About Me
We’re looking for a reliable, caring babysitter to join our family on an ad-hoc basis, mainly to provide cover when our part-time nanny is unavailable.
We have a lovely 10 month old baby boy and are looking for someone who is confident, warm and genuinely enjoys caring for babies. Most requests are likely to be Monday, Thursday or Friday evenings, and weekends, depending on availability.
We already have a part-time nanny, so this role would be additional/on-call support rather than guaranteed weekly hours. If we build a good relationship and you’re available, there may be regular opportunities.
My Requirements
Responsibilities include:
- Caring for our baby safely and attentively
- Bottle feeds and age-appropriate weaning/food preparation
- Confident nappy changing and baby hygiene
- Settling and following his usual sleep routine
- Playing, reading and doing age-appropriate learning/developmental activities
- Keeping baby’s areas and feeding equipment clean and tidy
- Communicating with us about his day, feeds, naps and anything important
- Baby laundry/light nursery duties
- Warm, patient, playful and reliable
- Good communication and comfortable working alongside parents
- Enhanced DBS required
- Paediatric First Aid required
- Non-smoker
