About Me

I am a friendly, caring and responsible person and a fully qualified secondary school English teacher. I currently work as a cover supervisor across secondary, primary and SEN schools, giving me experience with children and young people of a wide range of ages and needs. I am also a mum to three children aged 11, 8 and nearly 5, so I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and comfortable when leaving their children with someone else. I enjoy working with children and creating a calm, safe and positive environment where they feel comfortable and happy. I hold a full enhanced DBS on the Update Service and have professional experience in safeguarding and supporting children with a range of needs. I am reliable, approachable and happy to follow parents' instructions and routines. I am looking to offer occasional babysitting on alternate Friday and Saturday evenings, alongside my teaching work.

My Experience

I have experience supporting children with learning, behavioural and emotional needs, and understand the importance of safeguarding, routines and creating a safe and positive environment. My job role as a cover supervisor gives me experience in adapting quickly to different children as I work across many different schools. I hold a full enhanced DBS on the Update Service and have professional experience in safeguarding.

My Availability

I am available for babysitting on alternate Friday and Saturday evenings. Availability will vary depending on my teaching commitments, so please message me with your preferred date and times and I will confirm availability. I am happy to discuss start and finish times in advance. I can provide specific available dates in advance and will keep my calendar updated.
