I live in Wallasey with my 2 boys, 5 & 7 years old. My eldest is diagnosed Autistic with ADHD and my youngest is still waiting for clinical diagnosis, but on the same pathway. Despite their struggles, they are both good boys that just need stability and routine.
My eldest has been at Hayfield School, Upton for 2 years now, and he is thriving! But they have informed me the afterschool wrap around club will not be offered this year!
My youngest is due to start Bidston C of E Primary in September, in the base class, temporarily till they access his needs and development further.
I work part time Tuesday to Thursday, I’m an engineer for an energy company so my work can take me all over the north west. I am suppose to start at 8am but by the time we get school drop offs done it’s more like 9am! Trying to finish and be back to collect the boys at 3pm is next to impossible.
Like everyone else, I am currently pulled in all directions with work, the boys, caring for elderly family member’s and trying to start my own business so that childcare isn’t too much of an issue in the future. However I need to continue to work whilst doing all this!
My Requirements
I am desperately trying to find that special individual who can connect and bond with my boys, someone who is also reliable and trustworthy to collect the boys from school and preferably come back to mine to watch them until I get home or watch them at their house and I can collect them. I will always be home before 5pm as I never do over time.
This position is primarily just for term time, unless the right candidate actually wanted to do half terms. I can arrange for the family to help in half terms if I need to, we’re very limited with family assistance as some don’t drive and most still work.
