Tallulah
Babysitter in London
My Summary
About Me
I was born in Reading and moved to the countryside in Hampshire at the age of seven, where I spent the rest of my life. I have a little sister I often took care of when my parents were busy, as well as younger cousins. I grew up with six dogs and a cat, so the more pets the merrier. I have just moved to London after 5 months travelling Asia.
I love getting crafty and imaginative with whatever materials are at hand! Spending time outdoors was a big part of my childhood, and I love playing games such as Hide and Seek with kids. I’m also into running and have played many sports during my time, such as netball, football, and rounders. I’m keen to learn more! Helping kids with homework is something I also really enjoy because sometimes it's a refresher for me, too! I love watching kids learn and helping them achieve their goals. I’m vegan and love cooking delicious and nutritious meals.
My Experience
I recently gained a new sibling! A beautiful 9 month old brother who I regularly babysit. In addition to looking after younger members of my family, I spent July-December 2024 working as an events assistant at Fabrica in Brighton. I had many roles, but I spent much time working with children. In summer, I assisted full-day arts clubs, organised family film screenings with art workshops, which I then ran for the children, and organised and worked with One Church to run Chomp, a family, free art club involving a workshop and also a healthy vegetarian meal, which I cooked for the group.
My Qualifications
I am a First Class BA Film Studies graduate from the University of Sussex and have completed NSPCC safeguarding training focused on protecting children and recognising signs of harm or abuse. Through my work in customer-facing roles and events, I have developed strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, and I am confident working responsibly with people of all ages.
I am reliable, friendly and calm under pressure, with experience creating welcoming and supportive environments. I am available for occasional evening and weekend babysitting and am happy to help with activities, homework support, preparing simple meals and bedtime routines.
My Availability
I am currently jugglling a part time job (2 days a week) as well as freelance work, so just looking for casual, sporadic work at the moment.
