My Experience
I have over 30 years experience of working with children. I was a Teaching Assistant in Early Years, Reception and Year 1 classrooms for 27 years. I worked closely with SEN children both in 1-2-1 and group settings.
I have been a nanny to a family for the last 4 years, caring a boy from age 1 to 5 and supporting him with learning and development, socialising, potty training and education.
My Qualifications
I have had constant training in Safeguarding, Equality & Diversity, Numeracy & Literacy, Phonics and general childcare.
I have been qualified First Aider with consistent refresher training for the entirety of my career. I am certified in Paediatric First Aid (Sept 2026). I have an Enhanced DBS checked and cleared and am on the update service.
I have a full clean drivers licence and my own car. I can provide excellent references from my current and previous employers.
My Availability
My availability is fairly flexible in terms of days/times, I am unable to work on Fridays.
I am available to start a new position anytime in September.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (net)
Fees to be discussed between yourselves to come to the best arrangement that suits everyone. Currently I am being paid £21.00 per hour as a nanny for one child.
Some flexibility in terms of hours, minimum of 2 days a week (12 hour days), up to 4 days a week. Maximum hours 37, 30 hours preferred.
