My Requirements

We are looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny or babysitter to help our family with our twins, who will be 9 months old in September. This is a temporary position from September through December, with weekday morning and afternoon hours.

Mom will be home with the babies during the day and is primarily looking for a second pair of hands, rather than someone who will routinely care for the twins alone. We would love to find someone who enjoys working alongside a parent and can help make the days with two babies a little easier and more manageable.

The main focus is hands-on help with the babies, including:

- Helping with naps and settling the babies
- Preparing and feeding solids, and bottle-feeding
- Bathing the babies
- Keeping the babies happily engaged and supervised while Mom handles other tasks
- Helping with the general rhythm and routines of caring for two 9-month-olds
- Keeping baby play areas tidy and clean
- Keeping the diaper-changing area tidy and stocked
- Washing and keeping bottle-feeding equipment clean and stocked
- Other light baby-related household tasks when time allows

Mom will generally be present and does not expect the nanny/babysitter to be responsible for the babies alone all the time. We are particularly interested in someone who is comfortable working as part of a team with a parent.

Experience caring for twins around this age is especially important to us. We are looking for someone patient, kind, dependable, and comfortable with the realities of caring for two babies at once.

We are open to someone who cannot work all of the hours advertised. If you are a great fit for our family and have relevant twin experience, we would still love to hear from you even if you are looking for fewer hours.
