My Experience

I have completed my NCFE CACHE Level 2 Technical Occupational Entry for the Early Years Practitioner Diploma, which gave me knowledge and understanding of children’s development, safeguarding, the EYFS framework and supporting children’s learning and wellbeing. As part of my course, I completed a practical placement in a school nursery, where I gained hands-on experience around young children. I supported children during play and activities, observed their development and learned how to create a safe, welcoming and encouraging environment. I’ve also grown up as the oldest sibling, grandchild and cousin in my family, so I’ve always been around children of different ages. This has given me plenty of informal experience spending time with younger children, helping them, playing with them and understanding that children of different ages have different needs and personalities. Although I’m at the beginning of my professional childcare career and haven’t worked as a nanny before, my qualification and placement have given me a strong foundation. I’m keen to build on this experience and gain more confidence working with children and families.

My Qualifications

Through my qualification, I have studied areas including safeguarding, child development, the EYFS framework, supporting children’s learning and development, health and safety, and working with children and families. I have also completed practical experience as part of my course through a school nursery placement, allowing me to put my childcare knowledge into practice in a real early years setting.

My Availability

I’m flexible with my availability and can be available during weekdays, evenings and weekends depending on the family’s needs. I’m happy to discuss regular or occasional babysitting and nannying arrangements and can work around agreed schedules.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £11.50 per hour

My standard rate is £11.50 per hour, although I’m happy to discuss my fees depending on the type of childcare needed, the number of children and the responsibilities involved. I’m also open to discussing regular bookings or longer-term arrangements with families.
