My Requirements

Scope

We're looking for a full time nanny to help with our growing family, based in Harpenden. We'd hope the successful candidate would be working alongside us for many years to come. Our kids are Annie (5), Maddy (3), and Bart (1). They'll all age up in October. We're also expecting twins in November. My wife is a full time mum so will mostly be looking after the new-born twins.

It's a Monday to Friday role. It would involve school drop offs and pickups, with after school activities. During the day you'd be looking after Bart and maybe sometimes Maddy. Bart naps in the afternoon, so in that time providing some help with the new-born twins, like maybe giving them a bath or watching them.

We have a housekeeper who works Monday, Wednesday, Friday. She does laundry, tidying, cleaning, and meal preparation. So housework would not be a big part of the nanny role, but a light amount would be expected, such as keeping things tidy. And for Tuesday and Thursday, reheating meals made the day before for the kids would be expected.

These are the days and times that we are looking for.
Monday 730am - 5pm
Tuesday 730am - 630pm
Wednesday 730am - 5pm
Thursday 730am - 630pm
Friday 830am - 4pm

It would be an employed role, so you'd be paid a salary and be given paid leave. You'd have paid time off between Christmas and New year, 2 weeks when we're away in late July, as well as bank holidays and 2 discretionary weeks off to take when you like.

For the role we're looking at paying £35,000 a year to £40,000 a year on a PAYE basis depending on experience.
