About Me

We’re a friendly, warm and family-focused family looking for a professional, reliable and fully vetted babysitter who we can build a long-term relationship with and use regularly.

We have two young boys — one is 2 years old and our youngest is under 1. They’re both happy, loving and energetic children who enjoy playing, exploring and having plenty of interaction and attention.

We’re specifically looking for someone who is experienced with babies and young children, patient, caring and trustworthy. Ideally, we’d like someone who is DBS checked/vetted, has relevant childcare experience and can provide references.

The arrangement would be approximately one Saturday every month for around 12 hours, with the exact Saturday/date varying each month depending on our plans. We would agree the dates in advance so there is plenty of notice.

We’re hoping to find someone who we can use regularly over the long term, allowing them to become a familiar and trusted person in our children’s lives. Building a good relationship with both the children and ourselves is really important to us.

We’re a relaxed and easy-going family, but because our children are still very young, we want someone who is confident caring for them independently and is comfortable with things such as meals, bottles/feeding, naps, playtime, changing and bedtime routines.

Most importantly, we want our boys to feel safe, comfortable and happy with their babysitter, while giving us complete peace of mind knowing they’re in safe and capable hands.

We’re ideally looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, caring and genuinely enjoys working with children, and who would be interested in becoming our family’s regular babysitter for the foreseeable future.
