My Experience

I am DBS checked and have always had plenty of experience around children. My mum was a childminder for 13 years, and I regularly gained hands-on experience helping her with the children as part of my work experience.

I have also been babysitting for friends and family for several years, caring for children of different ages. I have experience babysitting two children with additional needs, giving me an understanding of the importance of patience, communication and adapting to each child’s individual needs.

I also have a 3-year-old niece who is regularly in my care, so I’m very comfortable with the day-to-day responsibilities of looking after young children, from keeping them entertained to preparing meals and settling them for bedtime.

I’m caring, responsible, patient and confident when it comes to looking after children, and I always aim to make sure they feel happy, comfortable and safe.
