About Me
We’re a warm, busy little family of three based in Surrey – me and my two children, aged 7 and 4, plus our friendly cat, Alfa ?.
I’m a birth doula, so my work can sometimes be unpredictable, but I’m very hands-on and around a lot of the time. The children are both at school/nursery during the week and spend every other weekend with their dad.
We have a relaxed, welcoming home and plenty of family nearby. A live-in nanny would have their own comfortable bedroom and private shower, with Wi-Fi, bills and food included. We’re around 40 minutes from London, so there’s lots of opportunity to explore and enjoy your own time too. ?
My Requirements
? Live-In Part-Time Nanny / Family Assistant – Surrey
Mid-October 2026 – Mid-January 2027
I’m looking for a warm, reliable live-in nanny/family assistant for approximately 3 months. I’m a mum to two children aged 7 and 4, plus our friendly cat.
This is a slightly unusual role as I’m around and do most of the childcare myself. I mainly need an extra pair of hands and reliable overnight cover when I’m working.
Hours & Pay
? £14ph – 14 active hours per week
- 2 evenings (7:30–9:30pm) helping with bedtime routine and helping clear dinner.
- 10 flexible hours for school drop-offs/pick-ups, park trips, simple meals and general childcare (negotiated to suit you)
? 3 sleep-ins per week – £60 set rate per night
Approx. 9:30/10pm–7am. No expected overnight duties – You would simply be the responsible adult in the house and can sleep as normal.
? £376 gross per week / approx. £1,630 per month
Additional childcare paid at £14ph.
? Accomodation included (All week even when not working).
? Bills/Wi-Fi included
? Lots of free time during the week
? Children are in school during the day and with their dad every other week
Flexibility to take on a another job / work from home if you needed.
We’re based in Chertsey Surrey, around 40 minutes from London.
