About Me
I’m Somma. I currently work as a Wraparound Care Supervisor in a primary school, where I work with children of different ages and help provide a safe, fun and welcoming environment before and after school.
I have experience supervising children, planning and organising activities, supporting positive behaviour and making sure children are safe and well cared for. Safeguarding is an important part of my current role, and I understand the responsibility that comes with looking after children.
I’m a caring, patient and reliable person and genuinely enjoy working with children. I’m happy to help with things such as playing games, arts and crafts, reading, homework, preparing simple meals and getting children ready for bed.
I’m particularly looking for babysitting, morning/evening childcare and school-holiday work, and I’m happy to discuss regular or occasional arrangements depending on what a family needs.
I also have experience supporting children with additional needs and understand that every child is different and may need a different approach.

My Experience
I currently work as a Wraparound Care Supervisor in a primary school, providing care for children across different age groups before and after school. My role involves supervising children, creating a safe and welcoming environment, planning and leading activities, supporting children’s individual needs and encouraging positive behaviour.
I have experience with safeguarding, health and safety, behaviour management and communicating with parents and school staff. I understand the importance of keeping children safe while also making sure they feel comfortable, supported and included.
I also have experience supporting children with additional needs and different communication styles, and I understand that children may require different approaches depending on their individual needs.
Alongside my school role, I have experience working as a Cleaning Operative, which has developed my reliability, responsibility, organisation and attention to detail.
I am DBS checked and have practical experience working in a professional school environment where safeguarding and the wellbeing of children are a priority.
My Qualifications
I have qualifications in Mathematics, Child Development and Health & Social Care. I am also DBS checked and have completed safeguarding training through my current role working in a primary school. My current employment provides me with ongoing training and practical experience in safeguarding, child wellbeing, health and safety and supporting children’s individual needs.
My Availability
am available for childcare before school in the mornings, and I can also offer evening babysitting during the week after my work commitments.
My weekday daytime availability is limited as I currently work in a primary school, but I may be available for morning childcare and some daytime childcare before 2pm, depending on my work schedule.
I am also available for evening babysitting during the week and have increased availability during school holidays. I am happy to discuss regular or occasional childcare depending on your family’s needs.
