I am a qualified primary school teacher with experience across the primary age range, with particular expertise in Early Years and Key Stage 1. I also have experience supporting children in Key Stage 2 and can offer tutoring in English, Maths, phonics, reading, writing and general curriculum support.
I have a strong background in phonics and early reading, as well as learning through play and continuous provision. I also have experience with outdoor education and Forest School-style learning, and enjoy using practical, creative and active approaches to help children learn and build confidence.
Alongside tutoring, I am available for occasional babysitting during evenings, weekends and school holidays. As a teacher, I am very comfortable caring for children of different ages and understand the importance of creating a safe, calm and positive environment. I am patient, friendly and reliable, and happy to follow children's usual routines around meals, play, bath time and bedtime.

BA Education and Training (University of Plymouth- 2024) 1st class hons
FdA Early Childhood Education (University of Plymouth - 2021-2023) 1st class hons
All relevant safeguarding training linked to schools
First aid level 2 adult and paediatric
My Availability
Available every Thursday during the daytime and evening, with flexibility around start and finish times. Additionally in school holidays. I’m based in Camborne/Hayle and often based in St Mawgan and can travel locally around Newquay and the surrounding area. I may also be available for occasional evenings or weekends with advance notice.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
Tutoring
Online: £30–£35/hour
Face-to-face: £35–£40/hour
Younger children 3-7 years: £27–£30 for 45 minutes.
