My Summary
About Me
Hello, I’m a qualified teacher and experienced childcare professional, looking for regular, part-time nanny work to complement my portfolio career including 1:1 tutoring and Forest School work.
I love to support children on a 1:1 or small group basis, and I would love the opportunity to work with a family long term.
My approach with children is warm, supportive and thoughtful. I enjoy getting to know a child and providing engaging learning experiences that build on their interests. I take a holistic approach, aiming to support their emotional wellbeing - encouraging confidence, independence and joy!
I am keen to be hands on, helping with all aspects of family life where needed. I am proactive and I would approach the role
with enthusiasm, energy, and a creative mindset.
In my personal life, I love gardening, cooking, and enjoying all that London has to offer with live music, arts and museums. Where suitable, I would incorporate fun experiences in London for the children I care for. Born and raised in London myself, I’m confident navigating London public transport. When working with children, health & safety and safeguarding is extremely important, and I am well trained and experienced in this.
My Experience
I’m a qualified teacher, having taught reception at a Bristol based primary school for three years. After this, I worked at a youth charity designing, and providing extra-curricular programmes for young people (primary and secondary age). Most recently, I’ve worked at a nursery, caring for children from the baby room, up to the pre-school room.
I have a breadth of experience with children over a range of ages. I am experienced supporting children with additional needs.
