? Full-Time Nanny / Mother’s Help Opportunity – Chelmsford ?

Hi everyone! ?

We’re a family of four – myself, my husband and our two little boys, aged 2 and 3, plus our outdoor dog – and I’ll be returning to work in September, so we’re looking for someone lovely to become a regular and trusted helping hand within our home.

Ideally, we’re looking for a nanny / mother’s help, or potentially a registered childminder who may be able to accept government-funded childcare hours.

The hours we’re looking for are Monday–Friday, 7am–6pm, all year round. We appreciate these are substantial hours, so we're open to discussing how this could work with the right person.

The role would primarily involve caring for the boys and keeping their days happy, structured and engaging, alongside some general household help such as:

- Preparing and cooking the children’s meals only
- Getting the boys ready and helping with their daily routine
- Planning age-appropriate activities, crafts, play and outings
- Taking them to local parks, playgroups and activities
- Making beds and keeping bedrooms/play areas tidy
- Children’s laundry and putting washing on
- Loading/unloading the dishwasher and tidying after the children
- Keeping toys and children’s belongings organised
- Preparing bags/clothes for the following day
- Generally helping to keep things ticking over during the day

We’re hoping to find someone reliable, warm and proactive who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and would like a consistent, long-term position with our family.
