About Me
Hi, I’m Flora! I’m a friendly, reliable and responsible 24-year-old working full-time in a marketing role. I graduated in 2025 from university with a First Class degree in business & management and am now looking to take on some extra babysitting hours alongside my job.
I have previous babysitting experience and really enjoy spending time with children. I’m patient, organised and approachable, and understand the importance of creating a safe, fun and comfortable environment for children. I’m happy to help with playing and activities, homework, preparing simple meals, bedtime routines and keeping children entertained.
I’m mainly looking for evening and weekend work, although I can be flexible depending on my work schedule. I have a full UK driving licence and my own car, so I’m also happy to help with school or nursery collections and taking children to activities. I’d love to build relationships with local families and become someone they can rely on for regular or occasional childcare.
My Experience
I have previous experience babysitting children for family friends and people I know, looking after children of different ages and helping with their day-to-day routines. I’m comfortable keeping children entertained through games, creative activities and trips out, as well as helping with homework, preparing simple meals and getting ready for bed.
I understand that every child and family has different routines and expectations, so I always aim to be patient, attentive and adaptable. I’m responsible and confident when caring for children, and I understand the importance of keeping parents updated and following any instructions they provide.
Alongside my previous babysitting experience, I work full-time in a professional marketing role, so I’m used to being organised, dependable and managing my time effectively. I’m now looking to build up some regular babysitting work alongside my career!
My Qualifications
I have a First Class BA (Hons) Business & Management degree and currently work full-time in a professional marketing role. I also hold a CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management & Leadership and Level 2 Mental Health First Aid training.
I do not currently hold a DBS check, but I completed an ACRO Police Certificate in 2023 as part of a visa application for Spain. I am more than happy to complete a DBS check if requested by a family.
I also have a full UK driving licence and my own car, and I’m happy to provide references or any additional information parents may require.
My Availability
I work full-time Monday to Friday, so I’m primarily available for babysitting during weekday evenings and throughout weekends. I’m happy to be flexible where possible and can accommodate occasional daytime bookings when my work schedule allows.
I’m also open to regular weekly arrangements as well as one-off bookings, including evening babysitting, date nights, family events and holiday childcare. I can sometimes accommodate last-minute or emergency bookings depending on my availability, so please feel free to get in touch and I’ll always do my best to help.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
£15 per hour for babysitting. Happy to discuss rates for multiple children, longer bookings or regular arrangements!
