About Me
We’re a family of four based in our home in Molland, on Exmoor in North Devon, with two young children (girls aged 6 & 8) and two much-loved dogs. We’re a relaxed, down-to-earth, creative household who are big on time outdoors, home-grown veg, and keeping things natural and sustainable where we can. Both parents juggle busy, hands-on work (including project and event-based work and landscaping), so we’re looking for someone reliable, warm, and flexible who can bring calm, consistent care to our household.
My Requirements
We have a home education background: our eldest (8) now attends a flexi-school Monday to Wednesday and both girls attend forest school on Fridays. While our youngest was in school for a period she became very anxious, so we made the decision to take her out in April. We’re looking for someone with a progressive, open-minded approach to learning who can follow our youngest’s lead and support her own interests, rather than a fixed structure.
We value kindness, patience, and a genuine love of being around children just as much as experience.
We are looking for mothers help with schools runs for one daughter x 2 twice a week plus time with our youngest for a day or two supporting her on her own self directed learning journey.
We may need some support with driving to forests school too and some support in the house with tidying, and meal preparation.
