- principally after-school care, as in picking up from school, bringing back to the house or to the park or activities, and preparing dinner until one of us finishes work
- the parent help being general tidying around the house and support of the functioning of the household (dinner prep, laundry, tidy...)
- potentially daytime care during some of the school holidays
