My Experience

I have gained a wide range of practical experience working with children in both nursery and classroom settings. I have experience supporting and teaching children in a classroom environment, helping them participate in activities, follow instructions and develop their confidence and independence.

I have also led and supported activities such as reading sessions, sensory play, creative activities and educational games. These experiences have helped me understand how to make activities enjoyable while also encouraging children's learning and development.

Working in childcare settings has given me experience with different ages, personalities and abilities. I have learned how to adapt activities to suit individual children and how to respond appropriately to their needs and behaviour.

Alongside structured activities, I understand the importance of allowing children to explore, use their imagination and simply have fun. I am comfortable getting involved in play and creating activities that are both enjoyable and beneficial to their development.

My experience has taught me to be responsible, observant and adaptable, while maintaining a professional approach when working with children and their families.

My Qualifications

I hold a valid DBS check and have professional experience working with children in both nursery and classroom environments.

I have an academic background in Biomedical Science and I am currently studying for a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. My studies have given me a strong understanding of human development, health, wellbeing and the importance of supporting individuals to reach their full potential.

My Occupational Therapy training is particularly relevant to childcare, as it has strengthened my understanding of development, independence, motor skills, sensory needs and creating activities that support individual abilities.

Alongside my academic qualifications, I have practical experience supporting children with learning, reading, sensory play and age-appropriate activities. I am passionate about using my knowledge and experience to provide children with safe, engaging and supportive care.

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour

My rate is £20 per hour. I have professional nursery experience, extensive childcare experience and a valid DBS check. My rate reflects my experience and commitment to providing safe, reliable and caring childcare.
