About Me
Hi! We’re Laura and Will, and we live in Hitchin with our daughter, Poppy, who is approaching 5 months old. She’s a happy, smiley little girl and we’re looking for a lovely childminder to become an important part of her little world when I return to work next year.
As a family, we love getting outdoors, exploring and having adventures. This September, the three of us are heading off on a month-long campervan trip through Spain and France! We’d love Poppy to grow up with that same sense of adventure and curiosity about the world around her.
My Requirements
We’re looking for childcare for Poppy 4–5 days a week, roughly 8:30am–5:30pm.
Ideally, we’d like to start with some settling-in days in February 2027, before starting more regularly from March. However, finding the right childminder is much more important to us than exact dates, so we can be flexible to fit around their availability.
We’re particularly looking for someone who will give Poppy lots of opportunities to socialise, explore and spend time outdoors. We’d love her days to include playgroups, time with other children, little days out, walks, parks, woodland adventures and plenty of fresh air – come rain or shine!
Most importantly, we’d love to find someone warm and caring who Poppy can build a lovely bond with, while giving her a fun, social and adventurous environment to grow and learn in.
We’re ideally looking in Hitchin, but we’re very happy to consider the surrounding villages or travel a little further for the right person.
