Babysitter in Ipswich
My Summary
About Me
I’m a friendly, caring and reliable mum with a genuine passion for working with children. I’m a qualified paediatric nurse with over 10 years of experience working with children and families, including on a paediatric ward, as a health visitor and as a school nurse.
Since having my daughter, I’ve been a stay-at-home mum and have loved watching her grow and develop. I’m now looking to return to work in a flexible way that fits around my family, and childcare feels like a really natural fit for me.
I’m calm, patient and nurturing, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel completely comfortable and confident leaving their children with someone. I’m happy caring for children in their own home or, where appropriate, welcoming children into my home.
I’m also very happy to help with school/nursery runs, homework, meals, activities, outings and the general day-to-day care that makes family life a little easier. I’m flexible, dependable and would love to build a long-term relationship with a family where I can become someone they know and trust.
If childcare isn't something you are looking for but household tasks and cleaning, including PA work or running errands whilst you enjoy your new born etc. I'm happy to help.
My Experience
I have over 10 years of professional experience working with children and families as a paediatric nurse. I spent 2 years working on a paediatric ward, caring for children of all ages and supporting their families, followed by 3 years as part of the Health Visiting team and then time within the School Nursing team.
My experience has given me a strong understanding of children’s physical, emotional and developmental needs, as well as the importance of creating a safe, happy and nurturing environment.
Since becoming a mum, I have also gained lots of hands-on experience caring for my own young daughter and managing the day-to-day routines, activities, meals and needs of a young child.
Alongside my professional experience, I have extensive experience working with children and young people through church youth programmes, including organising activities, camps and events and supporting young people aged 11–18.
I’m confident caring for children of different ages and would be happy to help with school/nursery runs, activities, meals, homework, outings and general childcare/ housework.
