My Experience

I have over 5 years of childcare experience across private family, nanny, au pair, holiday camp and teaching environments, caring for children of different ages and with a wide range of personalities and needs.

My private nanny experience has involved taking full responsibility for children’s day to day routines, including school and nursery runs, preparing healthy meals, helping with homework, organising activities and outings, managing bath and bedtime routines, and keeping children’s belongings and schedules organised. I have also supported families with the wider practical side of family life, including children’s laundry, changing bed linen, preparing family meals and keeping on top of household tasks.

I have experience working independently and becoming a trusted, reliable presence within a family home. I am confident managing multiple children at once, maintaining routines and boundaries, dealing calmly with challenging behaviour and adapting my approach to suit each individual child.

Alongside nannying, I have experience as an au pair/PA, giving me strong organisational and administrative skills, as well as experience working in children's camps and as a martial arts teaching assistant. These roles have strengthened my confidence, communication skills, creativity and ability to keep children engaged, active and safe.

I also have extensive first-aid training, including advanced first aid qualifications from New Zealand, Australia and the United States, alongside UK first aid training. Safety is extremely important to me, and I always aim to create an environment where children feel secure, encouraged and able to develop their independence.

Across all of my childcare roles, my priority has always been to build genuine relationships with the children while providing parents with complete peace of mind. I aim to be proactive rather than simply waiting to be told what needs doing, and I take pride in becoming someone a family can genuinely rely on.

My extensive first-aid and lifeguarding background has given me strong skills in child safety, emergency response and risk awareness. I am confident creating a safe environment for children while still allowing them the freedom to explore, learn and develop their independence.

My Availability

I am currently available for weekend childcare, with flexibility across both daytime and evening hours.

I am happy to help with regular weekend childcare, occasional babysitting, family outings, activities, date nights, or longer weekend shifts. I am flexible with hours and happy to discuss your family’s specific requirements.

Availability Note: I will be fully available any day of the week and can be flexible with my hours to suit your family’s needs.

1–3 children: £18 per hour
3–5 children: £21 per hour
5+ children: £24 per hour
