About Me
I’m a mum to an 8-month-old little girl and currently work from home. She’s a happy, curious and sociable baby who loves playing and interacting with people.
I’m looking for someone kind, patient and reliable who can get to know her and become a familiar, trusted person in her routine. My husband and I usually work from home, so we need someone to be here in the mornings to give, mainly, me some uninterrupted time for meetings and focused work.
We’re still exploring what arrangement will work best for us, so I’m hoping to find someone we feel comfortable with and potentially build a regular, longer-term relationship with.
My Requirements
I’m currently looking for regular childcare help for around 2–3 hours in the mornings, ideally on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, while I work from home.
My daughter’s wake-up time can vary — at the moment she usually wakes at around 10am, but she can sometimes sleep later. When she’s awake, I’d like someone to take over her care, including playing with her, feeding her, changing her and generally keeping her happy and occupied while I work.
If she’s still asleep when the babysitter arrives, I’d ideally like someone who is happy to help with light baby-related tasks in the meantime, such as preparing some of her food, washing or organising bottles and feeding equipment, or tidying her play area.
Experience caring for babies is important to me, and I’d ideally like someone who is DBS checked and paediatric first-aid trained.
I’m still exploring the exact hours and arrangement rather than looking to start immediately, so some flexibility would be helpful. Longer term, once she’s older, I may consider using a childminder, so I’m also open to hearing from registered childminders who offer babysitting or childcare in the family’s home.
