Full Time Nanny Job in London
About Me
My husband and I live in earls court and have the cutest little boy named Arthur.
My Requirements
Long-term nanny role near Earl’s Court — growing with our family
We are looking for a warm, caring and dependable nanny housekeeper to look after our son, Arthur, who is currently six months old, and become a trusted part of our family.
We live near Earl’s Court and are seeking someone to join us full-time from March 2027, working approximately 50 hours per week. Before then, we would love to begin with two to four days per week, giving everyone time to get to know one another. We are happy to discuss the start date, days and schedule.
A relationship for the long term:
Both of us grew up with nannies who became like family, and we would love Arthur to enjoy that same sense of warmth, trust and continuity. We hope to find someone who is looking for a lasting role and would enjoy growing alongside our family over the years.
The role:
Arthur’s care and wellbeing will be at the heart of the role, with housekeeping and cleaning when possible. Responsibilities will include:
- Providing attentive, affectionate care and supporting his development through play, books, outings and age-appropriate activities.
- Working with us to maintain routines around feeding, naps and daily life.
- Helping with regular housework, including cleaning, laundry and cooking, with responsibilities agreed together.
- Taking on nursery and school runs, and helping with homework as Arthur grows.
- Joining us on some family holidays, with travel arrangements, working hours and other conditions discussed and agreed in advance.
- Providing occasional evening babysitting, by prior arrangement; overnight care is not required.
Who we are hoping to find:
Someone kind, patient and reliable, with experience caring for babies and a thoughtful approach to helping children thrive. Open communication, mutual respect and a good relationship with both Arthur and us are especially important.
Fluent English, and French-speaking would be a welcome bonus, as we are a French family.
We would also value some flexibility for family travel and occasional evenings, with clear expectations and arrangements agreed together.
Growing together:
We want this to be a rewarding, supportive role. We would be happy to discuss funding relevant qualifications, diplomas or training to support your professional development as our family grows.
If you are looking for a long-term position with a family who values your care, experience and contribution, we would love to hear from you. Please get in touch with a little about yourself, your experience and your availability.
Salary: £18–£20 gross per hour, depending on the experience, tasks and responsibilities you would be happy and willing to undertake.
