About Me

We are a warm, multilingual family with no pets, looking for an exceptional and dependable after-school nanny to care for our 5-year-old son.
Both parents have demanding careers, so reliability, trustworthiness and excellent communication are extremely important to us.
He is a curious, energetic and engaging child who loves books, creative play and outdoor activities. He responds particularly well to calm, patient and predictable adults who communicate clearly, give him time to process information and create a reassuring, unhurried environment.
The ideal nanny will enjoy establishing consistent routines, supporting independence and helping a young child feel secure, confident and understood.

The Candidate We Are Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates who have formal early-years training and professional experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent, or significant training in early-years education.
* Experience supporting children’s learning and development through play, books, conversation and everyday activities.
* A calm, warm, patient and genuinely nurturing manner.
* Excellent reliability and punctuality.
* The ability to communicate calmly and clearly with a young child, allowing sufficient time to process information and respond without unnecessary rushing or overstimulation.
* Enough energy and enthusiasm to make afternoons enjoyable while maintaining a calm and reassuring presence.
* A strong understanding that working hours are focused on the child; mobile phone use should therefore be limited to essential communication.
