My Experience

I have lots of experience caring for children, ranging from newborns to preteens, having spent much of my childhood and teenage years regularly caring for and supporting children of different ages. This has given me extensive practical experience and a strong understanding of children’s different needs, personalities and stages of development.

I have also gained experience working as a teaching assistant in a Year 1 class, as well as completing two years of Occupational Therapy at university, which included a placement in a primary school. During my placement, I supported children in Years 3–6 with emotional regulation, confidence building, and fine and gross motor skills.

Two years of undergraduate study in Occupational Therapy - including a primary school placement
