After School Nanny with Special Needs Experience Job in Buckhurst Hill
About Me
We are a family of four looking for an after school nanny to collect our 7 year old son from school and bring him home to our house in Buckhurst Hill.
Our son is a lovely, sociable, happy boy. He likes building Lego, drawing, cooking and science related messy play. He has a diagnosis of autism and ADHD so has some additional needs but nothing significant. For example, he is a sensory seeker and may need to regulate himself after school by running round in the garden, and he loves a cuddle. He has no issues with self care, going to the toilet etc. but it would be advantageous to have someone with experience looking after children with SEND needs.
We also have an 11 year old daughter, who will be starting secondary school in September. She will be making her own way home from school and doesn’t need to be looked after, but will be getting home around the same time as her brother.
My Requirements
We ideally need help three days a week from 3.15pm-6.15pm until mum and dad arrive home from work, and can be flexible with days. We have a big garden so space for outdoor and indoor activities after school. We would love this person to read or do homework with Ronnie each day and prepare an after school snack.
