My Summary

My Experience

I worked for 19 and a half years at the local Children’s Centre in Bideford supporting families from antenatal stage through to their children’s early years and beyond. I have training in ‘Here’s Looking At You Baby’ and ‘Here’s Looking At You Little One’ so I am fully aware of children’s development and needs during this very important chapter of their life. I also delivered ‘Let’s Talk Read And Play’, supporting children with their communication and language skills and have a valuable knowledge of strategies to support children in this area of development.
I am trained in the SOLIHULL approach which is an evidence based developed framework focusing on emotional health and wellbeing for children and families. I also have training in the Incredible Years evidence based parenting program that provides tools and strategies to promote children’s social and emotional development and reduce behavioural difficulties.
I have knowledge of children’s brain development (Building Babies Brains) and I am very aware of using a positive approach to help shape babies and children’s future health, learning and wellbeing.
I have recently been working in a nursery where I have gained valuable experience supporting children throughout their day.

My Availability

I am available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8am to 5pm and can care for your little ones all year round.

My Fees

• Childminding from £6.00 per hour

I am fully set up to accept the 15 and 30 hours funded childcare for eligible 9 months old, 2 year olds and 3/4 year olds.
