About Me
I'm a dad of two, a boy aged 6 and a girl aged 8. They're both happy, sociable kids with a fairly settled evening and bedtime routine.
I work on a rotational basis, so when I'm home I have quite a bit of time with them. I'm looking to find one or two friendly, reliable babysitters who they can get to know and feel comfortable with, rather than using someone different each time.
My Requirements
I'm mainly looking for occasional evening babysitting, usually from around 6/7pm until midnight–1am.
The children will normally have had or be finishing dinner when the sitter arrives, so it would mainly involve spending some time with them, getting them ready for bed, reading/settling them and following their usual bedtime routine. After that, it would simply be staying in the house while they're asleep until I return.
Because of my work schedule, I won't necessarily need the same evening every week, so some flexibility would be ideal. I'd particularly like to find one or two regular sitters who can build a good relationship with the children and hopefully stay with us longer term.
Experience with children, PVG and first-aid training would be preferred.
