Anna
Babysitter in Lisburn
My Summary
About Me
Hi! I’m Anna. I’m 27 years old and originally from Crossgar, Northern Ireland. I moved to Seattle in 2013, where I spent the past 13 years living, studying, and building my career in early childhood education. I recently got married and have now moved back home to Northern Ireland, settling in Belfast with my husband.
I have several years of professional experience working with young children, particularly toddlers, and have worked my way from an assistant teacher to a Lead Montessori Teacher. I’m Montessori-trained and genuinely love working with children, supporting their independence, confidence, and individual personalities.
After moving back home, I’m hoping to find a nannying position where I can bring my experience into a more personal, family-focused setting. I’m caring, patient, reliable, and very hands-on, and I love creating a balance of fun, creativity, outdoor time, learning, and everyday routines. Most importantly, I want the children in my care to feel happy, safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.
My Experience
Dedicated Montessori Lead Toddler Teacher with over seven years of experience in early childhood education and a strong commitment to supporting young children, including those with diverse developmental and sensory needs. I have completed my Infant and Toddler Montessori training through MEIPN and bring a thoughtful, inclusive approach to my practice.
I specialise in creating nurturing, developmentally appropriate environments that support learning, independence, and emotional regulation, grounded in Montessori principles of respect, collaboration, and curiosity. With expertise in leading engaging educational activities and adapting approaches to meet individual needs, I prioritise building meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive classroom experience.
Through my teaching experience in the United States, I have had the privilege of working with children and families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, further shaping my inclusive and compassionate approach to supporting every child’s development.
