My Experience

I spent a year living independently in Japan from 18-19 as an English teacher and volunteer, working with children aged 2–15 every day. I acted as a carer for the children, including helping at after-school clubs and spending time with them outside of lessons. I built close relationships with many of the children and their families and became someone they felt comfortable with. I’m reliable, responsible and flexible, with experience cooking, cleaning and managing my own routine.

My Qualifications

I have A Levels in English Literature, English Language and Psychology. 8 GCSEs, higher grades in English. I also spent a year teaching English in Japan, working closely as a teacher but also carer with children of different ages and gaining lots of experience communicating with and caring for children.

My Availability

I’m generally fully available. I’m happy to discuss specific dates and times and will always try to be as flexible as possible.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)

My fees depend on the situation and the type of childcare needed, such as the number and ages of the children or the hours required. I typically charge between £11 and £16 per hour, but I’m happy to discuss this depending on your needs.
