Nanny — Private Family, Bristol (1 year, until graduation)

I nannied for a family in Bristol, caring for three children (7, 9 and 12) alongside my studies. On term-time days I’d sometimes arrive early to help with household chores like cleaning, meal prep, laundry and changing sheets, before picking the children up from school and taking them to activities like ballet and football. My role included cooking dinner, helping with homework, reading, packing lunches, playing games and arts and crafts, and getting them ready for bed. In school holidays I worked full days (7am–7pm), planning activities, day trips and household chores.

Babysitter — Private Family (on and off, 2 years)

I babysat for a family with a young boy and girl, around 8 hours a week on and off over two years – picking them up from school, doing evening activities like arts and crafts, cooking dinner and putting them to bed.

My Qualifications

I previously worked with an agency where I did paediatric first aid course.

My Availability

I’m looking for a full-time position, 30–40 hours a week. This could include household chores such as cleaning, meal prep and laundry alongside childcare. I have 5 years’ experience as a cleaner alongside my childcare background, so I’m comfortable taking this on as part of a broader role.

As I don’t have children of my own, I’m able to be very flexible and can often accommodate extra hours at short notice if ever needed.

• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
